The Managing Partner Development Institute has been created by Dan Siegel and three partners (Ellen Freedman, Mary Beth Pratt and David Sorin) to respond to the needs of current and future managing partners in firms of 2 to 50+ lawyers. The majority of lawyers in the United States practice in firms of this size, yet there are few institutes or programs designed to help these law firm leaders improve their skills and reach new levels of performance.

The Managing Partner Development Institute is led by four experienced professionals who have worked in and with law firms for many years. They have developed a curriculum to give current and future managing partners new and better management skills and tools to help their firms.
